About PRISM / CIRCUIT
PRISM / CIRCUIT is a free 3D kart racer by Andrew Benson that runs in your web browser. In a grand prix, eight karts race three laps on one of 25 original island circuits, grouped into five cups. Race a solo grand prix, a solo time trial, or a two-player local split-screen race on one device. First place earns gold, second or third silver, and any other finish bronze. Medals on three different circuits in a cup unlock the next cup; time trial lets you explore every course.
Acceleration is automatic, so the race is about your line. Brake for tight corners, hold drift while turning to bank up to three tiers of charge, then release it for a boost. Boost strips add speed, diamonds refill pulse energy (up to three), and a pulse disrupts rivals just ahead of you. Rescue puts you back at your last checkpoint with a one-second penalty.
- Player one: A / D steer and S brakes (← / → / ↓ also work in solo races), Space drifts, E pulses, R rescues.
- Player two (split-screen): ← / → steer, ↓ brakes, Right Shift drifts, Enter pulses, Backspace rescues.
- Gamepad: left stick steers, A drifts, B pulses, left trigger brakes.
- Touch: on-screen buttons steer, brake, drift and pulse in solo races.
- Escape pauses and M mutes. WebGL 2 is required.
